hi
I found both these products at same price on flipkart.
But corsair modular tx850m offers more watt (850) than corsair tx750m (750) but both have sane price. why?
which is better?
My cabinet is cooler master 690 2 plus. Is my cabinet compatible with 850 watts?
please tell me which one should I choose? I have a huge demand in future so I need ultra high performance. My budget is around 9000rupees.

maybe it's because the 850variant offers lower performance?

No - less performance would not be the reason.
Zin is correct, the 850 is on sale or the 750
is higher because it is modular, which is
prob the real reason (750 being modular).

Modular psu's are priced higher than their
non modular counterparts.

If the 850 is indeed modular, purchase it, better value,
most likely a sale price. These situations occur here
in the states also.

But flipkart always adds tags about sales/discounts. But that's not the case. So I doubt its sale...

If I see a better product for the same price from a vendor I trust, I just get the better product.

If it were crazy cheap or something, I might worry, but it seems like it's just a good deal. Good deals happen all the time.

True, maybe it's not on sale - sometimes it just comes down to supply and demand,
meaning there wasn't enough demand for the 850(as 750 is enough for CF/SLI)
so they just lowered the price until the supply lessens.
Conversely, since the 750 is more than enough for CF/SLI setups the demand is greater,
and therefore the price will be higher.

Like Zin said, if it's a better deal from a trusted
supplier like Corsair, then get the better deal.

Let me set things straight. Both are enthusiast series from the letters TX mentioned.
If u have a PC which requires 450 or 500W as maximum then i would advise you to get the 850.
Why? Because if u get a 550W then there will be more load on the PSU being noisy fans and PSU :-(
But if u get 850W then there is less load meaning quiet and peaceful PSU.

Hope this helped. :)
