Hi Guys,

I'm planning on making the following build soon. If you have any improvements please note that I can't spend over £900(including windows 7).

The Build:

Intel i5 3570k
Coolermaster 212 evo
Asus p8z77-v
Corsair vengeance 8gb(2x4gb) RAM LP
Radeon 7870
Western digital 1tb green (Two hard drives needed)
Western digital 500gb Blue
Zalman z11 plus Case
Corsair gs600 PSU
Windows 7 Home Premium
Asus 24x internal DVD Drive

Many Thanks.

Looks fine. There's nothing that screams "change me". Obviously, as I don't know your exact hard drive requirements, I can't really comment on choices. Case wouldn't, necessarily be my first choice, but that's more to do with the "look", than any issue. You don't state which HD7870. The MSI twinfrozr is a good one. Basically, all good to go.

Yeah sorry for the low details but I wrote it out quite fast. It's the sapphire 7870. Thanks for the fast feedback and it's good to hear that its fine:)

Thanks

That's ok. Most of the mainstream 7870's are good. The MSI is certainly one of the best, if you can get it at sensible price.

All good but I would get a 1TB black caviar instead of the green and then if you can survice the space get a SSD instead of the blue.

Well I can change the green to a black, which i have just done. But the second hard drive is for family photos and files, that kind of thing and the caviar black will be for game storage. So the second can be changed but I need quite abit of space (say 250gb minimum) for other things at as low price as possible.

Just get a cheap Blue Western Digital then for the photos :)  but yeah the black for far better for gaming.
