New Graphic Card is needed

Well like the titel says i want to buy myself a new Graphic card but lately i lost the view over the market . Since i bought my GTX 460 OC i never really thought about a new one and now im kinda lost with all the new Cards .

I never considered a AMD card untill i saw the prices of the 600 GTX Family wich is kinda over the top , i know that those cards are Powerfull but i dont think the price is justified , now i saw the AMD cards and i wonder if the Drivers gotten better for AMD Cards since they always were kinda bad ,the first and last "ATI" Card i had was the 9600 XT wich is kinda old more or less a AGP Relic .

Like i said im lost , im looking for a Powerfull card with a Rather good price between 150-300 € . Since i will replace my old PSU and Ram aswell there shouldnt be much problems about that .

You can SLI your GTX 460 if your motherboard supports it (or if you are getting a new one). Else, the HD 7970 is a good go, especially with the new drivers update. Ghz edition if you can afford.

It's a great card and will be better than a gtx 460 SLI not to mention consuming less power.

anything around the 300$(~192 pounds) can respectively play a game at 1920x1080 with good frame rates,

the newer gen cards in that range are(barring dual cards like 690)

On amd side it would be: 7870, 7950, 7970(ghz edition included)
On Nvidias side: Upcoming Gtx 660ti, Gtx 670, Gtx 680

though sli 460 is an option. just look up what you need, and use the left over money to upgrade other little trinkets in the computer. or save it and use it on something else.
