So, I'm having this problem...

http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/108893-13-stuttering-games

but it still doesn't explain why this problem would come out of nowhere. I'm running QAwin32 just to make sure it's nothing in my system. I tried a different video card last night and it doesn't change anything. Why would I have to run hard drives in raid when I've never had this issue before on anything else?

Thanks for the help!

First of all, what are you specs, and how old is your computer? It's more than likely your hard drive or RAM is faulty rather than your setup not being in RAID. Try checking for RAM or hard drive errors, and run a hard drive error fix or something. Try making sure all your computer parts are connected properly.

My system is only about 4 months old. Here are my specs...

Intel 620 SandyBridge
GeForce GTX 550ti
8gb G.skill Ripjaw
ASRock HM61

Also, I think I may have solved the problem with ending a background process for an HD audio manager or Spotify manager or something or other...It's not happening as often as it was.
