I'm going to be using an old desktop of mine for an extended period of time while a family member borrows my laptop, and want to upgrade the video card.

I'd like to get the best video card that my system can handle.

Power Supply: HEC-350LD-T
Mainboard: Asus <A7M266>
Chipset: AMD 761
Processor: AMD Athlon(TM) XP 1800+
RAM: 2048 KB (2 x 1024 DDR-SDRAM )
Video Card I'm upgrading from: RADEON 7500 SERIES

If there are any other specifications that I need to provide, please let me know, and thanks in advance.

That system is AGP based and there aren't many AGP cards even manufactured anymore. Newegg has a list: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=100007709%20600007850&IsNodeId=1&name=AGP%204X%2f8X

If you are overseas and can't use Newegg, I still advise reading through the reviews of the cards to see if you can find someone using one of these cards with a system like yours.

I don't know if they will actually work with that old mobo, though I don't know that they won't. I'd like to point out that you can probably buy a modern barebones system for not much more than a graphics card and it will run circles around that old system.
