What Will give me the best performance?

Overclocking?
I don't plan on over clocking until when it starts to get less useful without it.

Moniters?
I run two moniters but I usually only use the secondary for text, or a video while I'm playing. (the second moniter is a old LG (1280 x 1024) and my primary is a new Asus (1920 vs 1080)

Res/Specs Preference?
I wish to run game on maximum (or close to) resolution and details. (Such as Metro 2033, LA Noire, Starcraft 2, ect, ect).

Current Computer Specs?
Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit
Intel Core i5 2500k
8.00GB Ram
ASUSTeK P8Z68-M PRO (Mobo)
VE228 (1920x1080@60Hz)
L1717S (1280x1024@60Hz)
977GB Seagate HD103SJ

So what card will give me the best performance? Or is there no difference really between them?
Thank you all in advance! :D

if you can afford it go with the 6870 its a much faster card and runs great at stock settings (can oc the core to 1ghz with a little voltage tweak easy)

plus if you get a third monitor down the road you can run all three off of the 6870 and you couldnt do that with the 550ti
