Has anybody out there been running Windows XP on a computer with a bootable Raid 0 Array? I'm just wondering because I want to know what (if any) effect the WinXP "trick" of moveing frequently used Apps and files to the center of the hard drive has on a bootable RAID 0 array. Seems to me that unless it was carefull it ought to cause problems or affect performance. I ask because I'm going to build a new comp in early November and I'd like to do one with a RAID 0 array and WinXP but if XP is going to give me headaches because of it's added "Features" I'll save some cash and just get a single drive.

I´ve tried the XP platform with my RAID 0 configuration. I have a Abit SA6R mobo with the Highpoint 370 RAID controller.
My two 45GB 75GXP runs as smooth as in Win 2000 server, perhaps even faster.
By the way, I must recommend Abit mobo and the Highpoint controller they have worked awesome.
