Approximate Purchase Date: Around 1-2 weeks

Budget Range: $400ish USD (a little more if it makes a DRASTIC difference)

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Inventor/solidworks/etc., gaming (GW2) , normal use

Are you buying a monitor: maybe, most likely no at this point

Parts to Upgrade: CPU, Mobo, GPU, PSU, RAM

Do you need to buy OS: Yes (dont include price of this in budget, unless bundled with something)

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: newegg.com or amazon.com (have prime), or any other reputable website

Location: Orlando, FL

Parts Preferences: preferably intel/nVidia but willing to entertain other thoughts

Overclocking: no

SLI or Crossfire: maybe

Your Monitor Resolution: 1920 x 1080 or 1280 x 1024 depending what its hooked too

Additional Comments: Would like it to be able to be upgradable in the future year or two... Will sacrifice some performance now for parts that will support future tech

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: Desktop now is like 7+ years old. Im using a 14" dell laptop to do my solidworks and such for school, as well as game. And one computer isnt cutting it in house anymore. Also, Im wanting to play Guild Wars 2 and laptop wont do it :)
