Thanks for the reply, what games are you currently playing with it??
  3. What kind of performance do you expect from one of the strongest GPUs available today? It will eat anything you throw at it for breakfast even at 2560x1600.

Planning to just play whatever comes out later this year. (Planetside 2, End of Nations, Medal of Honor Warfighter)

The system is going to be a brand new system as follows..I'll just post the core stuff..

    i7 3.2 six core
    16gb RAM
    SSD
    gtx 670
  7. Did you buy this system yet? Because if you only game you don't need a six core i7 cpu, A quad core i5 2500k/3570k is all you really need!
  8. No I have not bought this system yet but I am getting the 6 core as I will be getting the Adobe Photoshop suite and some programming programs in the near future for school.
  9. +1 maxh and yes 670 will max em out!
  10. for school? trust me 3570k is enough!
  11. Go big or go home man. Lol
  12. ^how about 2x xeons on sr-x ???
    LOL.
    3570k is the sweetest spot!

Ye an i7 is overkill for you unless you do some professional work, and even then an i5 3570k is plenty fast, not to mention you can overclock it!!
