Hi there, so I'm looking forward to a new gaming rig.
Approximate Purchase Date:In about a few weeks or a month, but should I wait til Christmas season hit for sales? I don't really mind waiting. Does it make a difference?
Budget Range:$1200 Canadian Dollars after Shipping and Taxes but before rebates
System Usage from Most to Least Important:Gaming, Programming, Surfing the vast internet, watching movies, school stuff (MS Office mainly)
Are you buying a monitor: Yes
Do you need to buy OS: Yes (I have a OEM Win7, I'm pretty sure I can only use it on one system right?)
Preferred Website(s) for Parts:NCIX.com
Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Overclocking: Most likely
SLI or Crossfire: I have a question for this, if I'm going to mainly use it for gaming should I invest in SLI/Crossfire? And purchase a new card a few months or a year later?
Your Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080 or 1920x1200
And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading:I want to play latest games mostly on ultra settings.
Thanks for all those who would help!
