Okay so my friend was looking to get a gaming computer and I told him if he did a custom build he good get great results for a cheap price. He didn't believe me and went out to buy a 2,880$ Pre-Built PC. Now with that budget can you guys show me the best build one could get? Note that this doesn't include a monitor but it does include keyboard and mouse. Lets prove him wrong!

Solution
What in the world makes that PC 2,300 besides the greedy f***s at HP? You could build that exact system (minus the All-In-One aspect) for $700, $900 with an awesome GPU.

Tell you friend you could have built that PC for him for 700 + 30 for labor lol and watch his eyes start to water.

Can you ask him what name of the cpu? Its easier to come up with an argument about what is "better" part for part.

It was hard in some ways because your friend spent lots of money so to match up I had to be ... what the best... whats the best... whats the best... in each and every components.
Basically I had to add a 3d 27 inch monitor and the nvidia glasses. Also 32 gigs of ram, one of the leading top 1155 i7 CPU

Now, your friend has a good system, no doubts about that. It will stick around for a good time, though he needs to understand that the stuffs inside are the same that you can find in major retailers and/or E-retailers; therefore no matter where he goes, he will never be able to come near close to what he could have paid if he did it himself and for a system like this.... about 5 hours with breaks if it is your first timer... but it is also fun to do...
