XFX AMD Radeon HD 7970 vs Diamond AMD Radeon HD 7970?

Does it matter which I get for my future build? The XFX is $400, while the Diamond is $240. I did notice, however, the Diamond is 2gb while the XFX is 3gb. Would that have caused the major price drop, or was it a possible typo on the website?

I'm a PC novice, so these things are somewhat complicated for me.

A HD 7970 for $240? Sounds too good to be true to be honest, may be a typo or the extra GB and performance in the XFX is much better. To me XFX seems a better brand, I'd go with that. If you don't mind me asking, what website was it?

Regards,
Dan.

Ah I know why it is cheaper. Not to be funny or anything but you seem to have made a mistake. The $240 card is a HD 7850, a much lower specification that the HD 7970

I bet the $240 is a 78xx, as there are no 2GB 7970s
