Are full towers worth the money?

Hello,
Just a quick one, I have purchased a Thermaltake Mid tower, but I am aware that there are 'full' towers. Obviously, you have more room for upgrades and better cooling, but apart from style, are fill towers really worth it?

Regards,
Dan.

More about full towers worth money
  1. The prices on full and mid towers are all over the map . If your new to building or have uncertain future upgrades or not sure of component size and crowding then spend the extra bucks at the beginning IMHO .
  2. Yeah, well it's a decent size Mid tower and I'd know how to move the parts form one case to the other. Just see how it plays out in the future, thanks for the reply anyway :)
  3. Hi :)

I have had Lian Li full towers for all my machines...they cost around £300 each, but I have had them over 10 years... just change whats inside...and HUGE amounts of room inside...

    All the best Brett :)
  4. Cheers, I'll check them out :) Hey you'd need the room, aren't you the guy with the PowerColour 7990?
  5. one more point, but maybe not so relevant, but worth considering: sometimes the cables from your psu arent long enough to reach all the mobo connections, especially your cpu plugs on very big cases.
  6. No, anything is relevant to me at this stage :) Thanks for the hint, I'll be sure to check that

    Hi :)

Most of my gaming machines are roughly similar (owning Computer shops helps lol)

Lian Li ally cases ..(full towers)

Amd 1100T`s , 16 gb ram 4 or 5 hds of various types from SCSI to Sata to SSD

Blue ray drives, card readers, music equalizers, etc

    7990s in two of them

    etc, etc ...

    All the best Brett :)
  11. Sound good to me :) Thanks
