670 FTW not seating properly in case

Hi Guys,

I just got done building a new system with a Corsair 300r case and asus p8z77 board. The problem is that my gtx 670 FTW won't line up to the back of the case so that I can screw it down with the thumb screws. I managed to push the back of the case in and screw it down and the card stays in the slot, but will this damage the card at all? Should I unscrew the motherboard and try to push it over some more? Thanks.

I had to do the same thing with my Evga GTX580 and coolermaster Haf X case. I have had the setup for 1 year and so far no damage.

Thanks for the reassurance. I may try to push the board over a bit more and screw it back down, but at least I know that it's not going to harm anything.
