Your question

What is a good temp/fan speed ratio for a GTX 680?

I noticed my GTX 680 was going over 75 degrees but only had a fan speed of around 55%.

So I adjusted it so that the temp is around 63-64 degrees and the fan speed is around 70%

I just don't want my fan to break nor my card to overheat.

Trying to make the life of my card longer.....if thats possible.

75 degrees isn't that hot, but if it goes above 85-90, you should start worrying.
Putting the fan speed to about 70% won't break it or anything. Does the noise increase fairly too much such that it's a little discomforting. As far as I can see, increasing the fan speed won't disturb your GPU.
