Memory Clock

Hello;

I have gigabyte gtx560 with 1GB of ram. On gigabyte website under specs it says that it has 4008Mhz memory clock. When using Msi afterburner it shows 2004Mhz(double data rate), but on EasyBoost it only shows 1002Mhz., which means the quarter of what been advertised, so what is wrong ?!, and how can i calculate effective memory clock ?

thanks for your reply, i understand that marketing about doubling memory clock, but it is showing on easyboost (which is gigabyte software) that it only has 1/4 of what been advertised !

Different software is reading it differently. As I said, I would not worry about it, it's just about right.
