i bought a pre-built pc about 5 yrs ago and it has a radeon 3450 which plays games only on absolute lowest settings

i want to upgrade to a 7750 because it needs no external power

how much of an improvement will i see in games like red alert 3, tiberium wars 3, unreal tournament 2007, aoe 3, heroes of might and magic 5 and 6 and what newer games could i play with this ?

and which one of these is better, and shorter because size is and issue

here are my pc specs:

Ok I think that processor will be fine with a HD 7750, I think you would be very pleased with the performance boost you get from the card over on-board graphics, but remember it is a lower end card and won't be able to handle max settings on new games. Since many of the games you are playing are rather old, it should be great for your purposes. I would recommend buying the HiS version out of personal preference, though both cards should perform fine.

You will see a very large improvement from onboard graphics. The 7750 is about on par with a Radeon HD 4850, which I just replaced last week. It can still handle most games on decent settings at 1920x1080, though you will have to lower the settings in newer games. UT2007 and red alert 3 should run great on that card. Though I have to ask what processor you are using, since that will have a large effect as well.

Check your power supply...depending on the Acer model, it may have a 250 watt power supply. HD 7750 has been reported to work on some 250 watt systems....probably depends on what else is running.
