Hey everyone, this is my first time putting together a build, so I'd like to get as much feedback as possible. I put something together that I would think is future-proof (which is important for me), but if anyone thinks I can cut some corners while still maintaining performance, I'd love to hear it. Thank you all for taking the time to look at this and here's the list!

I think you should get this combo personally.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.1068426
I would then get this SSD ( if you really want one)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820227807
I will give you two options for GPU.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127662. The 7870 is cheaper and usually edges out the 660ti just barely.
You could also get the 7950
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150590
it is $10 more has more ram and is significantly stronger than the 660ti(although it trades blows with the 7870 but is more future proof).
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150590
Get this edimax network adapter $20 cheaper half the speed but I doubt you have more than 150mbps internet speed.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833315091
This monitor it is a littler smaller and far cheaper
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236079
You will need nothing more than windows 7 home premium
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16832116986
The total for this comes to 1387 (7870) or 1437(7950) This will perform better than yours in gaming and almost any other task. There is no need for more than an i5 in gaming this are for video encoding and things like that and now game will utilize it, you honestly don't need more than an i3 for gaming. You may notice that there is 8gb ram as opposed to 16gb. 8gb is already future proof. Most games recommend 2gb and some require a little more, so 8gb will be fine for years. To restate this PC will perform better than your build, unfortunately you will get sleeping dogs instead of Borderlands 2. Now if you really want it you will still be saving a ton. I am sorry if you feel like I completely tore apart your build but this one will be a better gaming rig.

Thanks for the feedback!

I redid the build using pcpartpicker.com, saw that I'd be saving more money by not just buying from newegg and put in a HD 7950. Changed the monitor, but kept the size because like I said, I want to also use it as a TV.

My PC Build

This build allows you the option to add another one of those cards later on in SLI. This build includes an after market cpu h/s (thermal paste included), 128GB SSD w/SF Toggle NAND controller, 1080 full HD HDMI monitor, factory over clocked GTX 660 ti, etc... There isn't any reviews on that Asrock board posted down below for the fact it was just released less than a week ago.
