Hey,

I've seen many similar threads, but figured I would be much more comfortable buying a PC that's better catered to me personally. I'm a casual gamer, occasional Photoshop user and I listen to a lot of music. I don't think I need anything too powerful, but at the same time, I don't want something that will be useless in a year or two.

Approximate Purchase Date: Doesn't matter/ASAP

Budget Range: I'm not too sure; anywhere between the $700-$1,000, though, I'm sure $1,000 would be overkill.

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Games, movies, general computering

Are you buying a monitor: No

Do you need to buy OS: I don't know. I have a copy of Windows 7, but I think it's only an upgrade disc.

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: It doesn't matter. I live near a Tiger Direct, so that makes it easier to buy it in person, but it really doesn't matter.

Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Parts Preferences: Honestly, it doesn't really matter.

Overclocking: Maybe

SLI or Crossfire: I really can't remember any benefits to crossfire apart from having two video cards, so while that's appealing for the future, I don't see any need for it initially.

Your Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080

Additional Comments:

■I'm not looking for anything too crazy; I'm not a graphics nut and I've been playing on my current PC for years with little problems, I just think it's time to start fresh.
■I want an SSD even if it means that I can't afford to put another drive in. I currently don't have much on my computer and can stick with dropbox or my external for what I need.
■Currently I really only play Starcraft 2, but am interested in branching out to other games - Battlefield 3 will get bought.
■I would like to play on my TV through an HDMI cable - again, graphics aren't too much of a concern as long as they're not awful. I'm not sure the resolution, but it's 47''.
■I would like something that can be upgraded in the future if possible

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: My computer is a 4 or 5 year old HP and I think its time has come to an end. The hard drive has been failing and it's becoming slow.

Thanks.

Both of them are kind of overkill for most games but not Battlefield.I'll also make you a third PC with a OS.It will be... well pretty much the PC you want.Good enough for casual gaming but nothing really hardcore.

Note that if you want to overclock the first and third PC's processors you need to buy a good CPU cooler first.
