Hello lovely people.
After helping me build my first ever gaming system (and me ignoring some of your comments, as you do) which is sweet, so thank you all, I would now like some advice re sound cards
I n

mobo: Asus z77v-lx
case: nzxt switch 810 gun metal
cpu: i5 3570k 3.4 oc (not yet oc'd)
cooler: corsair h100
psu: corsair tx 750
ssd: 120Gb ocz agility 3
hdd: Seagate 1tb
optical: Asus dvd rw
GPU: MSI 660ti PE

I use this for usual stuff (music, games, general browsing) but mainly gaming. I have updated my old dell A525 2.1 speakers for the corsair SP2500's.

My question is should I get a sound card? And if so what one? (I have free pci-e slots)

Or is it worth investing else where for a better overall experience?

Many thanks in advance x

ok so not any responces. not sure why but never mind

From reading online in other forums etc I have narrowed it down to two sound cards (the zonar dx and x-fi titanium)

Any comments would be appreciated

My main question is will there be much of a difference with the onboard sound chip on my asus z77-v lx? I know nothing about onboard sound so I am not sure what to compare the sound card too or what it will be improving on. I hope this makes sence
