Graphics card recommended for this motherboard

I have the GIGABYTE GA-Z68A-D3H-B3 LGA 1155 Intel Z68 motherboard and I tried the EVGA Nvidia gtx 550 ti. It died on me in 2 weeks. What are some good, cheap cards that will run games relatively well, and are compatible with my motherboard?

your mobo is capable of running any graphic card under the sky.

Since you want something cheap/ similar to your gtx 550 ti, try the hd7770. It would get the job done for you.

How much are you planning to spend?

Almost any card can run on your Z68 motherboard.

Best low-budget card is the 7750 (~$100) similar to the performance of the GTX 550 Ti.

Then you got low-range cards average of about $120 (+/- $10): GTX 560 SE, 6850

Thanks for the replies.

The card went BSOD on me and won't even put out a signal, and my CPU-ID program doesn't even acknowledge its existence anymore. I already tried the driver re-install to no avail.

That said, I need a new graphics card. I run some pretty high performance games, like Assassin's Creed and Skyrim, and the 550 ti ran them great... for a little while. Did I fry it with those games?

Could've been a heat issue or faulty card.
