Can my laptops processor be changed?

I want to know if i can change my laptops processor. its a HP Pavillion dv6, with an intergratd AMD graphics card (i dont really know if this makes a difference when swaping processor) and the processor is a Quad Core 1.6Ghz
its a relatively new computer i got it last year

The laptops are usually limited as to the speed they run at and BIOS updates are hard to come by for older machines. Although it can be done, it is a lot of work and hassle and may be worth the money just to buy a new PC
