Removing a computer from network

Hello,

I'm donating a computer that was in my office network but would like to delete the office network. How do I do it?

  1. Best thing to do if donating the system is to do a complete format of the HDD - to get rid of any info that might be on it. (since it was a work computer probably best to use a program that actually overwrites all of the data as part of the formatting just in case there is any sensitive data that a simple quick reformat might leave behind) Then reinstall Windows if you are donating it with the OS on it or donate it with the empty HDD.
