Hello
I need help with a new build for a gaming computer, here you can check the components: http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWishDetail.aspx...

I want to know if everything is compatible,if everything fits in that case.Opinions please :D
I have around 1300 $ and if you think i should change something please tell me :)
Can someone help me decide between the 660ti 3gb , ati 7950 and the GTX 670.
BTW, the ram comes with the motherboard (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...)

That looks pretty good to me! The 670 is the best, but the 7950 is no slouch either. It's a better choice than the 660TI is.

You need a OS. Nice keyboard, I have it! I would get rid of the seagate HDD and get a 1TB black caviar western digital, more reliable. Also have you got enough for a SSD?

2:seagate is fine. just that i can get the same drive at us.ncix for 74.99
3:get a different keyboard like the coolermaster quickfire pro for 59.99 after MIR. its mechanical which makes it much more awesome
4:id get a vs228h-p monitor instead

They also need to expand into other countries beyond the ones they have - US, Canada, Germany, France, Australia, and New Zealand. If they need stores I'll gladly point them in the right direction.

Yeah I would like to see that as well. You can't really select much in the way of water cooling other than the H100.

The thermaltake water 2.0 is a LOT better... it performs very similar to full loop watercoolers.

Hello, thanks for all your replies :)  , now I have some questions:
1. Why do I need a ssd? ( I don´t know what it really does)
2. whats better , 2 7870 or 1 nvidia gtx 670?
3.Do I really need a cpu cooler?? I just a maximum of 5 hours and that only happens on saturdays..
4.Whats better , WD 1TB caviar blue(http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...) or the Seagate 1tb i chose???
5. Is everything compatible with the motherboard I chose? What about the powersupply in my build?

thanks again :D  , and sorry for so many questions :o
Btw I think I am going with the haf 922 ( computer case)

1. SSD is a hard drive with no moving parts and is significantly faster than a traditional HD. Trust me, your build will be amazing with one.
2. *ALWAYS* go for the single strongest GPU you can get initially. SLI / Crossfire is usually a last resort.
3. If you've got a budget that high, you want to overclock it. Having a faster CPU will provide a significant speed boost to your system, and therefore the bigger cooler will be needed.
4. Doesn't really matter - pretty much all HDs come off the same assembly line.
5. Yes, and good choice for both motherboard and PSU.

*you don't need a SSD, its only gonna make your stuff boot faster but its not gonna give you a higher framerate.
*2x 7870 are a lot better than a GTX670
*you only need a CPU cooler if you're gonna overclock
*Caviar blue.... its a bit more reliable.
*yes, everything is compatible.
*Get a NZXT Phantom410/Tempest410

i disagree.... the crossfire/sli microstuttering is BS, i have played with a countless number of CF/SLI configuration for the past two years and i have never noticed that microstuttering thing.

by the time dual 7870s are outdated (~420$ purchase) the GTX670s are going to be outdated too.

I am confused right now, you said 2 7870 and someone else said the gtx 670, can someone give me some numbers to see which one is faster?
And why do you suggest me getting a NZXT 410/Tempest 410 instead of a HAF 922?

in games that take advantage of crossfire (famous games) the 7870 CF can outperform a highly overclocked 7970Ghz edition

the phantom 410 is better than the haf922 for a tiny bit more.

I didn't say anything about micro stuttering so I'm wondering why that was brought up. I'm saying get the stronger single card now, then add a second one later on when it's more affordable to do so.

This is my last question before buying, I saw a gygabyte GTX 670 20 $ cheaper than the EVGA GTX 670.
Here is the link:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
which one is better? and why is does the Gygabyte has more boost clock and core clock??If i get the gygabyte 670 is there any compatibility problems?

They're both good cards - here's a benchmark if you want to use it for comparison: http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/618?vs=598

If you get the 7970 - get the GHZ edition as it's significantly faster but it will run a bit more.

1: id drop the ram to 1600mhz
2: get the vs228h-p monitor instead. its cheaper at newegg and has the same resolution

if you are only planning to run 1 gpu, id just get a 550w psu. otherwise, get 750w. the xfx 550w is only 49.99 after MIR at us.ncix

Hi again............. ;)

So, probably tomorrow I will buy my pc and I have 100 dollars left.
I was looking for a better looking case ( the HAF 922 is the case I want to buy) and I found this:

I can afford the gtx 680, is that card worth it?
should I get one of those 2 cases and stay with the same video card or get the HAF 922 with a gtx 680???

I am going with the 670 then .
the case you showed me looks ugly . I mean i dont really know if the ones I linked have good airflow and cooling, but they look awesome. Thats what i am looking for, good looking case with great cooling system. the haf 922 has both of those things. I have 100$ left to spend and i want a better case. I hope there was a case similar to the dell alienware.

Ok guys, I am ready to pull the trigger
Here I have the 2 builds I want, theres a 100$ difference between them and I want to know which one is the best:
1. Better case and 80 plus PSU: http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWishDetail.aspx...
1360% for this build.

2. Cheaper build ( 100 $ savings ) :
http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWishDetail.aspx... + this combo : http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboBundleDetails.aspx?I...
Thats 1266$ for the second build

Thanks everyone for all the help you gave me :wahoo:  you guys are awesome!

id say get a vs228h-p monitor instead. its much cheaper for the same resolution. 134.99 at amazon

id get a xfx 550w psu instead. 49.99 at us.ncix.com. higher quality

us.ncix has mushkin blackline frostbyte ram that is 39.94. a couple bucks cheaper for the same thing

the cooler is 27.99 at amazon i believe

for the keyboard, this is a great deal. using a mech keyboard is probably the best thing ever when typing of gaming
