Hot CPU

Hello,
How hot can my CPU can go up to. repeatedly the system warns me that the temp has exceeded 60 degree Centigrade.
Motherboard: ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. F1A75-V PRO (FM1 ),
Processor:AMD A8-3870 APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics
RAM 8 GB

Try using a different cooler, the CM hyper 212 evo is the best cheap solution.

Check in BIOS under advanced menu, CPU Q-Fan Control (Enabled), CPU Fan Profile (Standard or Turbo), may have to adjust fan duty cycle to 100%, save and exit BIOS.

I am trying this method for the last few days. So far no report of raised temp has been reported

Most comments about FM1 and FM2 state that the stock cooler was poorly choosen for these CPU, majority of all owners of the FM1 and FM2 CPUs advised to get a after market cooler.
