I scanned pictures from my friend's wedding and copy them to CD.
He can click on each file to see the pictures, but there should be
better way to do it.
I like to make a CD that he can insert the CD and start the slideshow.

Is there any free software for this purpose for MS XP?

I'm sure there is plenty out there but if you can't find anything
I can send you a very simple program I wrote several years ago.

It will play folder full of JPEGs at a speed of 2, 5 or 10 seconds
per picture and can be autorun from a CD on Windows.

Oh, I forgot. There is some degree of manual control such as zooming
and pausing using the keyboard.

Irfanview - just google for it and down load. It's free.

I downloaded Photo Story fro Microsoft: http://tinyurl.com/4f869
but haven't used it yet--it looks pretty feature-packed.
