guys it's really bothering me please hear my story ...

first i had 9600 gt xfx video card i played crysis 2 on advanced settings with some lags i finished the game and it was fun !! i was playing games like bad company 2 it lags in some areas but it was playable ..and my specs intel core 2 due 6750 and 4g ram ps is 500 watt (gamma) then the nightmare begun :)  i bought gtx 560 with the same aspects i tried crysis 2 crysis warhead and assassin creed revelations an it was bad lets speak about cysis 2 ....crysis 2 working on max settings with 1280 resolution and 4x anti allies with no problem the game is smooth BUT :)  every 3-4 minutes the lagging is showing up and the game fps dropping to be i don't know maybe 2-3 fps a horrible lagging for 5 seconds AAAAAND it will do this even if am standing do nothing in the game even if i pressed escape to pause the game !!!! it was like a slide show ....why ??? ok lets say the common reasons for this :

1-heat ..... no it' not heat the 560 is 63c the fan is 76 while playing

2-processor bottleneck.....no the load was 56-62 maximum !!! and remember this ..i played the game with gt 9600

3-PS !!! ....maybe i have 500 watt i dont know if this will effect the performance ?

4-driver....no i updated the driver everything looks ok

5-the windows....should i reinstall windows 7 ???

6-something in the windows background .....am playing using game Booster 3

7-windows power saving.....maybe idont know how to check

8-compatiblity issues ....the motherboard is abit ip35-e and the card is gigapyte

i played cysis 2 with no problems using gt 9600 !!!! what is that all about ??

gpu bottleneck, using of uncertain softwares will no boost your game, you can do it manually too by closing all the running application in the task bar, the purpose of your game booster is that, that it close all the running apps, that is why you feel a little better. but the main thing is your cpu bottlenecking the card hugely.

so that's why gt 9600 working better ?? because the cpu is working simultaneity good with the card but 560 is not ??

Did you uninstall the old graphics driver before swapping cards? Before re-installing Windows, try this. Uninstall the existing driver, run Driver Sweeper from Safe Mode, and have it remove any Nvidia and AMD graphics driver remnants it finds. Reboot and run CCleaner to get rid of resource wasting crap and registry errors. Re-install the latest driver for your card and O/S.

Driver Sweeper: http://phyxion.net/Downloads/ (don't go for the ad at the top)
CCleaner: http://www.piriform.com/CCLEANER

If your old card ran good with your aging CPU, the new card should run even better.

i did driver sweeper before but not in safe mood and i have C cleaner too i did also a memory test and nothing i don't know i saw people with this card also with this aspects and there was no problem ???? no PCU bottleneck or anything .... i have a processor structure 64 pit that's why i want to try re install windows but with 64 pit windows not 32 anymore i don't if this will fix anything or not if not i will buy then a new platform !!!

A fresh install of Win7x64 will be the best way to go for a total 'fix'. But give Driver Sweeper a try in Safe Mode. It can't clean remnants of all graphics driver files if they may still be in use. Do a normal driver uninstall first, tho.

Here is my results using Battlefield Bad Company 2 at test:

GTX 480 at 850mhz OC
Settings maxed out with Acatama desert map:

RESULT (fraps bench)
Frames, Time (ms), Min, Max, Avg
2983, 75769, 20, 69, 39.370

=================================================================

Ok, 4 cores at 2.8ghz with the same map (server) and settings:

RESULTS:
Frames, Time (ms), Min, Max, Avg
15646, 152615, 53, 180, 102.519

Summary:

My 480 dropped into 2D clocks due to the massive bottleneck with 2 cores.

Going to 4 was like night and day... lightyears smoother and faster.

This will only get worse as games come out using 4 cores.

CPU is a bottleneck.

I have shown you my 2500k with 2 cores at 2.8ghz vs 4 at that clock speed.

thank u so much for the explanation i think after this illustrating maybe a 64 pit windows 7 will better the performance of the cpu 64pit structure ....what do u think ?
