Hello. I just built my new computer and I am having a difficult time trying to figure out a screen issue with my 24" Westinghouse Full 1080p HDTV. When I first loaded on the OS Windows 7 64bit the resolution was default 800 something by 800 something. I changed it to 1920x1080 in the resolution feature on windows 7, all while I was loading the software for the motherboard and everything was nice and full screen high definition. Then i loaded up the software for the video card and when it was done i restarted my computer and now the problem starts I'm only using 20" of my 24" screen and the Windows 7 res feature still says I'm in 1080p and so does the video card graphic settings. I have even tried lowering res but it still uses only the 20'' or so. I'm connected to my video card via HDMI.

if you are experiencing the "black bars/borders" around the edges of your screen then you most likely have to adjust you gpu scaling. follow this guide
