Not amazing games. Games like mincraft and online games. Is the i3 quad?

Not a quad. A quad for what you want is not required. Dual is sufficient. I'd get this GPU to complement the CPU and mobo:

Although you are £21 or so over budget, it will easily do what you need it to and you system will be well balanced.

What is your PSU model? And what are the 12V+ rail info?

AMD is simply too slow. I have that in my gaming system and its more than enough. Its also more than enough for the basic workstation you have in mind.

AMD is not simply too slow at all, it is more than quick enough for what the OP needs its just not as fast as intel, in fact i can safely say the OP in real world terms would not notice the difference between a decent AMD Phenom II X4 quad and an i3.

Heres my recs..asuming your case is compatible with full atx mobos and you have a decent power supply.

Don't need an OS with the build? With that small of a budget, you'll be better off buying a pre-built system.
