PSU and Graphic Card help

Hey there guys, ive got an Acer Aspire X3900 and was looking to upgrade my PSU and graphic card, problem I have is i can only fit in a low profile graphic card, due to the size of the PC, so can anybody tell me which Graphic card and PSU I could get? currently maximum PSU is 220Watts i would like to increase that to say 500Watts, also will it fit into my PC?

I hope somebody can reply. :wahoo:

No Mid-High end Graphic card would fit in that case without modifications and for a low profile bracket card like a HD 6670 200w psu would be enough. if you want a better GPU i recommend you buy a new case, HD 6850 (plays a lot of games at 1080p on high settings) with a 400w PSU your're ok

No a standard ATX PSU won't fit yes any graphic card that doesn't require pci-e power connectors like hd 6670

Do you have a budget? If the budget is right, there are better things to do.

Sure a 6670 would RUN. Would the power supply last for a year? No. Would it be reliable? No. Would I recommend it? No. Not on 220W.

Maybe a 6570. The 6670 is pushing it.

What is your budget?

In that case, I would recommend the 6570. Its very low power, but I would say you could upgrade the case and the power supply then mount the motherboard into the new case. I've done it (and am in the process of doing it again)

What games are you going to play?

will the 6570 fit into the acer aspire x3900, also which psu unit can i get which will fit into the pc ive got?
