Will windows update detect all driver updates too?

Hi, I was wondering, when I build a PC, will windows update detect all driver updates too? Thanks.

No you need to install the drivers. You should install all drivers before even working on windows updates.

Go to manufacturers websites. IE Asus, Nvidia, etc etc for recent drivers.

you should install drivers that came with the motherboard First Thing after getting to the desktop - then after all is good run windows update

it may/may not find drivers for your system components to update

Oh, what about if I go to Device Manager > Choose a part > Check for updates automatically, will that work?

It will work. But I still recommend to make sure you have the latest and greatest you should go to the manufacturers website and get the latest drivers "starting with the mobo first". Takes a whole 10 seconds longer then going to device manager.
