Is this a Good computer build?

My CPU is a i5 3570k with intel hd graphics 4000

My Ram is 8 gigs of kingston memory

My GPU is xfx Radeon 6950 DD 2 gigs

My Motherboard is a ASRock Z75 pro 3

My PSU is a Antec BP550 atx12v Modular 80+ Certified (Many people say it will run my stuff well)

My HDD is a WD 500gig 3.5"

My Optical drive is well, a optical drive lol.

My case is a Roswell ATX midtower with 2 120MM fans and a 140MM fan on the top. (also has a blue led in the fromt 120mm fan.)

I am not planning on OC or Torturing with Stresstest and benchmarks lol just for some good ol gaming and multitasking. games such as LOL, D3, SC2, L4D2 ect. Just to let you know i have all these parts sitting at home just not ready to set up yet so please dont recommend parts that arnt nesseary such as a 7850 cause a 6950 is good enough for me.

@OP you're dumb... really dumb, a 7870 cost the same as 6950 and outperforms a GTX570.

read before you post it's not hard... he's asking about a setup he ALREADY has... maybe the 7XXX series wasn't out when the 6950 was bought?

If you have the opportunity to return the 6950, I'd recommend you do for the 7850 which is a bit cheaper, uses less power, performs better, etc. If you can't, then it's still one good card, especially unlocked.

ROFL. A 7870 would spank that 6950 six ways to Sunday while using less power to boot. Unless it was a free hand me down its a poor choice. Then the HDD is too small and the Z75 chipset is a strange choice. Still its fairly decent overall.

L sorry for the arguments i didnt orginally plan on buying a 6950 i was goin to get.a.6850 but they were selling the 6950 for 169.99 during labor day sells on newegg and was just like why not. was orginally like 259.99 so i think it turned out fine.

Also will my psu handle this stuff?

PSU will handle it. The 7850 is about $20-$30 more and beats it. If you can return it, I'd do that. ANd yes, the PSU can handle a 7850.

I don't know what to tell you, but... THERE ARE BETTER ways to deliver a message, and NONE OF THEM involves degrading someone else. You type of people shouldn't even be called humans.
