Are all the components of this build compatible? If so, this will be what i buy. Further, can i run an ethernet cable directly from this MOBO to my modem without any additional parts?

mostly everything looks good. for little more you could upgrade the storage to 1tb and the ssd to 128gb. for the video card get a msi pe gtx 670 they have a much better cooler. i know it raises the price but they are good bumps. do you have any other questions?

Thanks, I really appreciate it. I'll definately look into higher storage, paying a little more doesn't matter much at this point.

This may sound stupid, but I wanted to know if the MOBO i chose has an Ethernet port so i don't have to bottleneck with my wireless. I'm pretty sure it does but more experienced verification would make me feel reassured.

Keep in mind that larger SSDs typically offer faster transfer speeds in addition to more storage space.

I see that you suggested the MSI gtx 670. I've seen a lot of models, but what is the only difference in the card's cooling system? I want to understand before i buy the single most expensive component of my build haha. Should i also consider this option?
