Forum Windows 7 : Configuration & Customization I no longer have google toolbar and spellchecker in ie9

Hello everyone.

I regret upgrading to ie9 earlier this year. As soon as I did that I no longer have my useful google toolbar and spellchecker.

I have tried repeatedly to install it (both 32x and 64) but I keep getting "Google Toolbar installation failed. An error occurred during installation"

This is what else I've tried:

- Uninstalled and reinstalled ie9 several times
- Deleted latest updates after I installed ie9 under "view installed updates"
- Went to Manage ad-ons to view to see if it's unchecked, it's not there at all.

I got fed up and uninstalled ie9 and switched to google chrome but that only caused more problems when browsing my hard drive. I got that finally solved but not this issue.

Any suggestions?
