Is my CPU at optimum levels?

I recently bought the Intel Core 15 3570k and i'm not sure if it is me being paranoid but i dont think it is running at optimum speeds. I'm using the stock fan and i have not overclocked it. If you're worried that the core speed is listed lower than you expect, it's because the Intel CPU is throttling down to idle clock speeds. Open a program or game and you will see it throttle back up as the performance is needed.
