Laptop is hanging

Hello,
i have a acer laptop wid windows 7 ultimate when i switch it on , it appears acer sign when windows 7 icon goes to appear it gets hang for 5-10 secs...and amde very creep type of beep...
plz help me as soon as.......

ive had that problem as well but it was a bad hard drive that was causing it. if you still can get into the system, id get a SSD, clone the laptop hard drive, and take out the hard drive inside the laptop and install the cloned SSD. you will then have to call microsoft up to reactivate windows but it should be all good after tht

also, clean out your laptop. heat might have contributed to any type of hardware failure.
