Time to look up the warranty and try to get a replacement video card. Make sure you also examine the cord it hit and look for any damage. What cord did it hit? What make and model video card?

I doubt it, It's probably just the video card. Do you have another video card you can test the PC with? Hows that PSU cable looking? Find any damaged cables?

Hmm, if you have a friend who has working card, I would borrow that. You might have to try RMAing a number of components (PSU, MOBO, GPU). Thankfully you should be covered and be able to return your parts and get new ones.

To be clear, the PC will not even turn on with the video card in?

Well the video card that's in there ive had for awhile.. That's one of the things I didn't buy new. And ya it's not turning on AT ALL when the video
Card is in. The things I got new were the mobo, CPU, and ram. My mobo has a button on it to boot it up manually like that and that lights up when I plug the cord into the wall but won't actually turn on the computer when I press it. When I take the video card out it turns on right away.

There is an led on my mobo that says A2.. I looked it up in the manual and it says IDE detect.. I don't know what that is supposed to mean or if that's realavent to what's going on with my video card problem

The psu is the one I've been usin with my old stuff.. I have my old setup goin again and everything is working perfectly so the mobo is the only thing I can think of that it could be
