Okay so i've built my past two gaming rigs and my friend picked up GW2 and wants a better computer but has ~300 to spend and i'm going to buy him a ~100 dollar GPU.

The best build i've been able to put together the best performance for this price so far I have

PSU:500w Corsair 54.99$ http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004W2T2U6/ref=ox_sc_a... 500w

RAM: 8GB 1333 DDR3 38.99$ http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004DDI0IE/ref=ox_sc_a...

CD drive: Lite-On Super AllWrite 24X SATA DVD+/-RW Dual Layer Drive 21.48$ http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002YIG9AQ/ref=ox_sc_a...

CPU: Intel Pentium Dual-Core Processor G860 3.0 GHz 3 MB Cache LGA 1155 73.66$ http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005LLBBSS/ref=ox_sc_a...

Mobo: ASRock H61M-VS Intel H61 Micro ATX DDR3 1333 Motherboard 37.27$ http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004S9JXPW/ref=ox_sc_a...

Case: Rosewill CHALLENGER Black Gaming ATX Mid Tower Computer Case 54.99$ http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003YVJJ5Y/ref=ox_sc_a... (I'm sure I can find another decent case for 39.99-44.99$ help would be appreciated! Any recommendations?)

HDD: Just a 500GB from local CL for about 30$ can't afford a 60 dollar 500GB too overpriced and can't afford an 80$ 1TB with this price point.

GPU: With the current release of the GTX 650 I cannot decide if I should get the 650 or the 550 TI. PLEASE Help me out with this one.

Current price of everything minus the GPU 280.13$

So I need to choose the GPU, maybe a different PSU that can run the 650/550 Ti at a cheaper price, and a cheaper case.

I've considered this but I personally enjoy the user friendly interface that the geforce website offers in terms of games. The AMD UI and CCC is less user friendly and though I have no preference to cards my friend isn't much of an enthusiast and might be playing WoW and I can tell you from experience, research and checking the benchmarks, that for some reason AMD CPUs and GPUs are not friendly with WoW for some reason probably relating to Blizzard being paid off. My 5870 and i7 in my old rig would run WoW at Ultra between 50-60 fps. So I will continue to consider that but with that said if you had to choose which would you believe to go with? Yes the 650 has a tad smaller bus width an the 550 ti seems to be a doing a bit better on the benchmarks out but this may have to also do with drivers since the card is so new.

7750. Avoid the GTX 650 like the plague.

What's wrong with the 650? Can you please provide some hard evidence to support your claim? I have 2 years in computer science current at a 2yr college and have a very good, fundamental understanding of these concepts so far. I'm still 4 years away. So if you can explain without being too abstract, provide hard evidence perhaps multiple benchmarks. Though saying get this and avoid that is really too vague for me to make a decision. If you're wondering why i'm even asking because some of the benchmarks are different, say different things, have different hardware, and my friends resolution which is my fault is only 1366x768. He may upgrade. If you can explain please do. Thank you :]
