Guys i had a Gigabyte HD 6970 2GB DDR5 Graphics card , which was running too hot for gaming ( games like dota 2 made the 3 small fans roar ) .

so i decided to change the graphics card when i built a new PC .

i got a new Gigabyte GTX 560 Ti 1GB DDR5...

I lived in a place where i literally couldnt find any solution for cooling down my HD 6970 ..but now that i have an option to get an aftermarket cooler through online buys ( UK )

i think i can finally try OCing my card ?

now i need advice on which is the best card for my new PC.

The new GIGABYTE GTX 560 TI

OR

8 Months old Gigabyte HD 6970

and i would like to know what after market cooling solution is best for my HD 6970

THANK YOU .

and most importantly .

what is the ideal LOAD temperature for HD 6970 AND GTX 560 TI

The 6970 is a lot better than the 560ti. I wouldn't have bought the 560ti in the first place since you can underclock the 6970 to the performance of the 560ti and solve your heat issues. I don't know what the best aftermarket cooler is, but the highest temps you want to go is about 80c. Your card will still be stable above that, but it will take a kick to its lifespan.
