This is my first time building a computer (intended for gaming), and want to keep it open to future expansion, overclocking, RAID, etc.

I'm basically wondering if a) anything is horribly wrong with this build, and b) are there any limitations I should be aware of?

What's your budget? I'd switch out the RAM with G.Skill Ares and I'd switch the cooler with the Hyper 212 Evo - otherwise everything else looks good.

Budget is ~$1250, but I'm currently at $1100, and those two things you mentioned actually bring the price down about $10.

The tall heat sinks on the Corsair Vengeance will make installing a Hyper 212 Evo difficult.
