Weird system slowdowns

Hello everyone, So lately ive been experiencing weird slowdowns with my system. its not frequent enough for me to catch it and identify it (maybe a program or whatever) but enough that i notice it.

The problem is that sometimes ill be doing something and my system becomes sluggish. My systems isnt CRAZY but it isnt a slouch either....these are the specs

AMDBE quad core 3.4ghz
Asus crosshair formula iv
16 gigs ddr 3 ram
h50, cooling
corsair 750 psu
evga GTX470 and 570GTX
90g ssd boot drive
1tb hdd
650g hdd
externak 1.5 tb

amd a bunch of stuff attached to it.

The one thing i DO notice is that sometimes when playing games, ill get a message that says something along the lines of " your system is low on memory" or SOMETHING along those lines. This message usually happens when im gaming but not oftern, maybe 2 out of 10 gaming sessions.

Most times, it doesnt show, just sluggish overall.

Any ideas as to why this is happening? i have 16g of ram plus 1.5 or whatever my 570 has and another 1.5 or whatever my 470 has......plus again i have enough juice on my system to be WHIZZIN by....


Any ideas ????

It sounds like a virtual memory leak to me. If you cant narrow it down further, try to increase the virtual memory. This article i found sums up the process pretty well.
