I am planning to upgrade my PC, changing unlocked Sempron 140(Athlon II 4400e) to a Phenom II x4 965.
I've been trying to find answers if Biostar A780L supports the Phenom II.

I've already vistied this:
http://www.biostar.com.tw/app/en/mb/introduction.php?S_...

And yes, the Phenom II x4 processors are there but I don't see the 965? Or will it even matter after all it's already listed as a Phenom II x4?

I have this specs. And I'm not sure the motherboard is listed as one in the link and supports the Phenom II x4: http://s8.postimage.org/jlmgathr9/Untitled.jpg

I have a generic 600w PSU as of now and I am planning to replace it with a branded Antec 520w

it would most likely support it but I cant find a concrete proof.
the usual incompatibility reasons are maximum cpu wattage but that board can support a 125 watt 940 so a 965 (also 125) should be compatible.

Me either. I can't find enough facts for its compatibility. I can't even find it on Biostar's website. I guess it's supposed to be hidden.... OR TOP SECRET????? jk
