Total Cost of this Build: $325, if you guys can tell me how to lower that down to like $150 - $200 but still get a good computer, please do :p.
Hi guys, I'm putting together computer parts because christmas is only a couple of months away, and I'm going to ask for this for Christmas ;P. The only problem is, I don't think my parents will want to run out and gather all the correct parts for me, so this might not happen, I might just have to get them individually. OR: Just ask for a Lenovo Desktop :p.

Anyways, down to what I'm thinking of getting: My budget is near $300 Probably closer to $150-$200, so the items I've chosen are mid-grade and will do good for me until I can afford to upgrade later on.
Here is what I've got so far: By the way; Please let me know if some things aren't compatible, such as the motherboard and CPU. Thanks!:D

x1 Seagate Barracuda SATA Hard drive; $70

Hard Drive

x1 ASUS ATX Intel Motherboard; $80

Motherboard

x1 Intel Pentium Sandy Bridge 2.6GHz Processor; $65

Processor

x1 Kingston HyperX 4GiB Memory Stick; $20

Memory
(Keep in mind that I will be upgrading this to 8GiB later on)

x1 EVGA nVidia GT 520 Graphics Card; $50

Graphics Card
(How do I hook up a VGA LCD to the back of this?)

x1 Apex Case + PSU; $40

Case + Power Supply

Guys the Case is not too fancy, but I will upgrade it later, but will the PSU included in this work with my motherboard?

Thanks for looking :>

Still needs an operating system and the integrated graphics are on par with the graphics card you originally listed according to Tom's Hardware Graphic Card Hierarchy chart

If there is more budget room, definitely go for an A6 processor over an A4 processor.

Something like this AMD A6-3650 Llano 2.6GHz Socket FM1 100W Quad-Core Desktop APU as a better processor and graphics.

I'm confused, so what graphics card/onboard graphics chip does the CPU/Mobo have?
