I was wondering if there was a way to copy protect CD's. I make copies of cd's for friends, and unknowingly they make profit by copying my copied CD! I know all i have to do is, dont give it to them, but is there a way to copy protect cd's? I remember there was this one program, forgot the name, but I lost it during all these upgrades, any suggestions?

There is like a million ways to copy protected cds, but you got to have the hardware. What is your hardware?

Use CloneCD at www.elby.de, which stands for elaboratebytes.
It is very odd to me that elaboratebytes . com exists.

Get daemon-tools at www.daemon-tools.com for a virtual cd rom drive to use images before you burn them.

There are many programs to make one to one copies of cds, but clonecd is in many people's opionion the best. www.cdmediaworld.com has a lot of outdated and updated info.

Here is a list of some:

The 1 to 1 progs:

VOB's stuff:
www.vob.de/us/index.htm

CD-Master Clone
www.bhv.net/bhv/software/pts_8246_9.html

blindwrite.com

CDmate

Fireburner? (heard it sucks)

CD-Master Clone

No, no, no, no.
He wants the CDs he makes to be copy-protected, not break the copy protection on existing CDs.
