CPU/GPU match up

I have an AMD A8 3870k already as a gift form a friend so i will be usign that, so get it in your brain, dont suggest "you should get a 965 BE or and 2500k", but would be a better match. GTX 670 or a 7950? as a pair, i think that the 670 will be bottlenecked by the 3870k but not sure. this will be for moderate gaming

mainly for dayZ, and if there is a cheaper card that will run the game at a nice FPS then please let me know.

im sorry to tell you dayz isnt "moderate" gaming since its extremely demanding.

and well both of these cards will give you similar performances. just go with what you prefer brand/price wise

i meant in the aspect of time, i know its demanding but i play maybe 5 hours during the week, given school and AP classes

the time you will spend gaming has nothing to do with the performance you will get, what's your budget and what do you need?

thats not important, i know everything else that im getting, but no the GPU and those are the two that I was looking at, i just didnt know if there was a big performance boost with the 670 cause it is 50 bucks more

alright, thanks man ill look into it, i was just going to use th ea8 at frist because my friend gave it to me, and then only have to buy a mobo but i dont want bottlenecking

but it would be nice to get things for so much cheaper off of ebay lol, except you probably cant trust anything on there.
