Hi, I was just wondering, why are games using more cores I know a quad core is pretty much the modern day for now but, whay are games trying to use all eight cores on my cpu (fx 8350) the thing I dont understand is why don't they let it take up maybe 4 cores because you could be doing other things with your cores because for instence for crysis 3 demo my fx was 30%-50% and I really don't understand why it should be at 50 %. I am hopeing you will understand what I am trying to say. Let me know if you have any qestions.

It's for better performance. More cores can each work with a certain process of the game, also that way the work is distributed evenly.
