I just finish my first build! Yay!! :D
Ok, my CPU comes with a integrated graphic card. [i5 3570k]. In order to install a new graphic card, do I need to first disable to integrated graphic card first and then install or can I just install the graphic card onto my mobo and it'll automactically switch over to the installed graphic card? Btw I'm using the gtx 550 ti.

Thanks
For helping!

Some motherboards are rather picky about whether you have to disable the integrated or not.

That being said, its more of an old motherboard problem. Just power down and UNPLUG IT, then hook up the power cable(s) and monitor and it should just work easily. Then you can either install the drivers that came on the disc or use ones online to install.

When I installed mine I was able to just put it in and install the drivers but I was having some issues. I then went into BIOS and disabled the built in one which solved the issues.
