I want to open my wedding photo album to scan the pictures but can't
figure out how to open the binding. Any recommendations?

The Topflight albums I often used used a long metal pin that went down
the spine...sort of like a door hinge. The mats the photos were put
into could be slipped out the top or the bottom of the acetate
covering.
