Before I asking the question, I have horrible story. In 2009, earthquake shocking on my city (Padang, Indonesia) was shocking very strong making destroying building on my city (lucky my house safe from earthquake although it got minor damage). After I evacuate, my computer case was damaged due it fell by it shock (because I placing the computer to top of the desk). So my case was look bad

I got replacing the new case for it.

Now, I asking the question. How to protect computer case even $100 priced case from catastrophe (like earthquake)? I am lost when my case damaged by it shock.

Put on bottom? On floor?

Is rubber pad can resist from shock to avoid the case fall from side case?

What is rubber pad can be used for shock resistant?

stand it near a wall on the floor, then it should be fine. remember putting thick things around it may cover your vents causing overheating, large dust collection to then a failing PSU witch could blow your MOBO!
