Hello,
I am looking for an estimate of the reliaiblity of the Dell Workstation Precision R5500 in operating hours. Does anybody have any insight, after numerous calls to Dell with no success.

You know it's a nice machine. My fathers office runs a server off of one and we find no lag, it's very fast, it's got SO much memory, and it's something I recommend to anyone in the workstation buying business.

You could probably build it yourself for less, as well have it last longer and have easier upgrades.

What Montosaurous says is true, you could have a better workstation for less. Just check this out. This is an amazing workstation. It's breathtaking to me... :pt1cable:
